Mooncana ("the App", "we", "us") is operated by Beijing Ciyuan Creek Technology Co., Ltd. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the App you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Account information — if you sign in. With email sign-in we store your email and optional display name. With Sign in with Apple or Google we receive the name and email you authorize (Apple may relay a private email). You can use the App as a guest without an account.
• Reading content — the questions you type and the cards drawn, used to generate your reading. Your reading history is stored on your device.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active Pro subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple; we (via RevenueCat) receive purchase/entitlement status, not your card details.
• Usage & diagnostics — basic, non-identifying app-usage and crash data to keep the App working.

We do not collect payment card numbers, contacts, photos, precise location, or health data.

How your reading questions are processed (AI)

To generate readings, the text you submit and the drawn cards are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently DeepSeek) which returns the interpretation. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information in your questions. We do not use your questions to identify you.

Third parties we use

Firebase / Google (authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (sign-in and in-app purchases), and DeepSeek (AI generation of readings). Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Data retention & your rights

We keep account data while your account exists. You can sign out (returns to guest), clear local reading history in-app, or request deletion of any account data by emailing us. Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
